Isaac's Medical Bills
Donation protected
There once was a man named Isaac,
Who’s government sucks but denies it.
One day Isaac got sick
And his job – forced to quit
And now, he’s buried in deep shit.
See, in summer he started having seizures,
And some of their many features,
Are that he can’t fucking work or drive – he’s having seizures.
Now of course he’s been to the doctor,
And naturally they’ve attempted to proctor
But there’s no rhyme or reason
Save for bodily treason,
So for Isaac it’s kind of a lot for.
He’s unable to work and unable to drive
Which admittedly is a blow to his pride.
Plus his income is gone
And his medical bills long –
It’s becoming a struggle to thrive.
Now he’s starting to fret
cause of medical debt,
But we think we can help him divide it.
So if you can spare some type of support
Whether financial or some other sort
Please lend a hand
To give what you can
And show Issac that life is a team sport.

Hi friends,
Isaac needs our help.
And if you know him, you know that’s not something he easily asks for. In fact, he still isn’t asking – despite suffering from a medical crisis that’s left him thousands in medical debt and unable to work. All in the blink of an eye.
This account has been established and is being run by Isaac’s best friends, in an attempt to rally his village and ensure he doesn’t have to suffer anymore than he already has/is.
So first, what’s the situation?
In the summer Isaac started experiencing sudden disorientation while simultaneously losing massive chunks of time. A consistent and terrifying experience that culminated in an ER visit and general seizure diagnosis on August 3rd.
After multiple tests and being put on seizure medications, his results have come back inconclusive and the seizures haven’t stopped. Because of their severity, frequency, and sudden onset, he has been medically deemed unable to work, and approved for disability.
However despite his PCP disability insurance authorization, Isaac’s been struggling with the state of Ohio to actually redeem his benefits.
Now, with normal bills mounting, already $3,000+ in medical debt, a recent neurologist appointment with another HEFTY price tag, plus an additional mandatory follow-up and increased medication -- this number is about to skyrocket. And with a currently untreatable medical diagnosis that’s rendered him unable to work or drive – he’s fallen into a financially unsustainable situation.
On top of that, losing a daily source of socialization; plus grappling with a sudden medical condition resulting in a forced and significant lifestyle change – as you can imagine, is wreaking havoc on his mental health.
Shit, that sucks. What can I do to help?
Right now, Issac needs support in two main areas:
- Financially
- Mentially/Emotionally
Financially: Isaac’s in a lot of medical debt, with more building. And now the daily bills that keep us all going are piling up because he can’t work.
If you’ve ever spent a significant amount of time with Isaac, you know that he’s never hesitated to give even his last dollar to help a friend out. Whether that’s buying a round of drinks at the bar, paying a friend’s emergency vet bills, or dropping everything to drive over an hour in a snowstorm to pick up a stranded pal.
So if you can relate, and especially if you’ve ever been touched by his generosity – please share what you can to lighten his current financial burden. Even if it’s just repaying the price of a shot.
Emotionally & Mentally: Having to wake up one day and have your entire lifestyle turned upside down due to a sudden, unexpected medical condition is… a lot.
Isaac likes to be the light-hearted person who serves the people around him with support and joy. But right now he’s feeling isolated and his mental health is suffering. And this whole situation is a big pill to swallow.
If you can empathize, drop him a line when you’ve got some time. A quick text. A meme. A check-in. A call. A visit. He could really use his village now.
Bonus - Sharing: While Issac is in need, it’s not lost on us that others are struggling, too. If you don’t have money or time to donate, even sharing this Go Fund Me with your network is enough to help!
