Hello! Hola! My name is Isabelle Pala and I am thirteen years old. Ethnically, I am partly Spanish. I've grown up in America and unfortunately haven't been exposed to the language and culture until last year. Since I am in eighth grade and high school is just around the corner, my education is at its peak. This year, my school is organizing a trip for Spanish language students to go to Costa Rica for spring break and engage in conversations with the people of the country. I would love, more than anything, to be included in this learning adventure. I think going to Costa Rica will increase my comprehension of the language and awareness of another Spanish culture. Another benefit would be learning about nature of a leader in environmental protection. I am also particularly interested in learning about environmental science and wild animals. I'm hoping this trip will expose me to so much more than I have been previously. The overall trip fee includes plane tickets, hotel stays, outdoor excursions like visiting a tropical rainforest, food --that will also expose me to the culture of Costa Rica-- and so much more. I would appreciate your help to make this dream come true and make my education flourish.
