Isabelle's TECA (Ear)Surgery

Isabelle has had chronic ear infections for quite some time. She has been to the vet NUMEROUS times and has been treated with antibiotics and prednisone over and over again, neither of which have helped. We have also changed her food and used ear drops which also have not helped. Today she went to the dermatologist who did testing and found that it's a genetic issue and recommended TECA (Total Ear Canal Ablation) surgery for both ears. At this point, surgery is her only option for a normal life. Unfortunately, surgery is not cheap. I wish I didn't have to ask for help but I just can't afford the surgery she desperately needs. I don't have an exact estimate yet because she won't be seeing the surgeon for a consult until April 14 which will cost $135. But the surgeon said that best case scenario it would be $2800 and worst case scenario it would be $5000 including today's visit which was $312. According to the dermatologist, it's the worst case scenario because her left ear is severely affected. I will post the actual estimate on April 14 when the surgeon gives it to me.
