Isabelle was born on July 23, 2016 with no complications. It was after she went home from the hospital that her health started to deterriorate. Isabelle started to have diarrhea on her 7th day of life; up to 20 times per day. Her newborn strength was slowly fading and her arms and legs became weak. She was not tolerating breasfeedings or her formula. On the night of July 30, Isabelle was taken to the ED and was found to be severely dehydrated. She got admitted to the pediatric ward. IV fluids and antibiotics were started, but Isabelle had shown no signs of improvement. She continues to have diarrhea & vomit and still continues to be in a dehydrated state. On Aug. 3, Isabelle developed bloody diarrhea. Driscoll's Childrens Hospital specialist has been consulted and are awaiting the doctors' visit.
