Isabella's journey to recover❤

I am making this go fund me to help my sister, Savannah Palladino, during this difficult time she is going through. On May 8th, her daughter 3 year old Isabella was not acting herself, she would not play, eat and would be hunched over when she would get up. She decided it was time to bring her in and get her checked out. She went to her local ER in Tioga, North Dakota when they discovered that Isabella had a mass in her lower abdominal. Doctors decided it was time to get them to a bigger hospital. Savannah and Isabella were flown to Fargo, North Dakota hospital where they did their own scans and discovered Isabella had a tumor attached to her belly button growing towards her back and was attached to numerous organs. It was attached to her bladder and intestines. it was severely attached to her bladder causing her bladder to retract and not release urine as it should. The tumor had ruptured and it was time to get it out as soon as possible. On May 10th they attempted to remove the tumor. After surgery, the surgeon came in and explained to Savannah that they were able to remove most of it, but couldn't remove a chunk that was stuck inside her belly button. 2 weeks later they were called back to the clinic to meet with the oncologist. The worst news a parent could receive was given, Isabella's tumor was cancerous. The type of cancer she was diagnosed with is called Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma, stage 3. This type of cancer grows on soft tissue. May 19th, they were called back to the hospital to have Isabella undergo some more scans to make sure the cancer did not spread as they were concerned because it ruptured. That same day, they placed a port inside Isabella's chest. Scans came back that day and the cancer did not spread so they went ahead and started chemo. Doctors have explained to them that she is going to need 40-50 weeks of chemo as well as radiation to take care of the rest of the tumor that was left behind. Isabella has started her chemo treatments and has been doing well with them, she will be heading down to the Mayo in Rochester for them to start her radiation. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Savannah and Isabella have been living in MN and Isabella has been receiving her treatments in Duluth. I have created this gofund to help ease the stress that has come along for my sister. Rides, hotel stays, meals and/or medical bills or even just a prayer! I appreciate everyone taking the time to read, share, donate and pray for them! Thank you!
