Isabella’s Fight – Help Us Support Her Journey Through Cancer.

This past week, we received the news no family ever wants to hear: Isabella has Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer, specifically a Sertoli-Leydig Cell Tumor, a very rare form of cancer, found in only about 0.5% of girls her age with ovarian cancer.

This week, Isabella will begin chemotherapy. On Monday, May 5th she had a port placed and began a series of tests to establish her baseline before starting treatment. Wednesday she will actually begin her first round of chemotherapy.

Through everything, Isabella has been a warrior—brave, resilient, and full of fight. Our entire family is in awe of her strength, but we know this journey will be long and hard.
