Hello, my name is Veronica Moreno and my fiance and I just had our first baby. She was born on December 21, 2016 at only 33 weeks and 3 days old due to me developing severe preeclampsia at 32 weeks and 5 days. The doctors wanted to try to get her to 37 weeks before inducing labor, but they could not get my blood pressure under control. For the safety of Isabella and myself they induced labor and then decided on a cesarean section just 24 hours later. She is currently staying in the NICU at the Sutter Hospital in Roseville, CA and making progress every day. She could be in there from 2-6 weeks depending on how she is progressing. Isabella was born 4 lbs 7.2 oz, but lost 5.2 oz soon after being placed in the NICU. She has gained 30 grams since the loss, but is still being tube fed. Unfortunately my fiance and I are one of the many families who don't qaulify for Medical, but cannot afford to pay for her hospital bills out of pocket. The hospital estimates her stay to be between $8,000 and $12,000. We are asking $10,000 to cover her hospital stay in the NICU. Any donation denominations are greatly appreciated!
