Hi. I am raising funds for my 15-year-old Isabella (Izzy). She has just entered the international climbing scene, having been selected by GB Climbing to represent Great Britain at the European (Austria and Germany) and World Championships (Dallas, in the US) in 2022 for her age category. She has progressed from a nervous 7-year-old to a confident 15-year-old and is currently juggling her final required year of school, GCSEs and national/international competitions. How she juggles all of her revision and exams while still focusing on climbing is incredible and is a testament to her dedication and passion for the sport she loves. So far in 2022, she has podiumed at all the national competitions she has entered (2022 Welsh Bouldering Champion, 2021 YCS B Category Champion) and had her first international competition, with another five internationals to go in 2022 alone.

All costs relating to climbing: all equipment, traveling to training and competitions, coaching etc., are self-funded by the bank of Mum and Dad, including all international competitions. She cannot hope to progress with her goals of continuing to compete for GB Climbing and maybe the Olympics without support and funding to help her progress at the international level and gain valuable experience.

We are looking for support to help Izzy continue pursuing her journey and development in her chosen sport and are hopeful she can build on her successes in the coming years. All funds raised will specifically be used for competition travel for Izzy over the next 18months. With all other costs to continue to be self-funded.
