With a broken heart we announce that our mother, Isabel, passed away unexpectedly on April 9th.
Isabel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She had a kind and generous heart and was known for taking care of family, friends or anyone she saw in need. She doted on her eight grandsons whom she adored. She was little, feisty, loved her slot machine and dancing with her sister at family gatherings. We will miss her more than words can express.
Isabel was born in Guatemala and had gone back to Guatemala to visit with family whom she had not seen in years. She was due to return in March however because of the COVID-19 pandemic all flights back to the United States were suspended she was unable to return. Sadly, she passed away before she could make it home.
Her family is heartbroken and must deal with the additional hardship of waiting to bring her home. All funds will go to her immediate family and will be used towards costs incurred while she is held in Guatemala, flying her home, funeral services and laying her to rest.
Please help to bring her home to her family.

Isabel era una madre, abuela, hermana, tía y amiga amorosa para muchos. ella tenía un corazón amable y generoso y era conocida por cuidar a la familia, amigos o cualquier persona que veía necesitada. ella adoraba a su ocho nietos a quien adoraba. era pequeña, luchadora, amaba su máquina tragamonedas y bailaba con su hermana en las reuniones familiares, la extrañaremos más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar. Isabel nació en Guatemala y había regresado a Guatemala para visitar a una familia a la que no había visto en años. Debía regresar en marzo, sin embargo, debido a la pandemia de COVID 19, todos los vuelos de regreso a Estados Unidos fueron suspendidos y no pudo regresar. Lamentablemente, falleció antes de poder llegar a casa. Su familia está desconsolada y debe lidiar con las dificultades adicionales de esperar para llevarla a casa. Todos los fondos se destinarán a su familia inmediata y se utilizarán para cubrir los costos incurridos mientras esté detenida en Guatemala, transportando a su hogar, servicios funerarios y recostándola para que descanse. Por favor, ayuda a llevarla a casa con su familia.
