Isabel and Maddy’s Recital Fundraiser

Hi! Our names are Maddy Zuckerman and Isabel Yang and we are current freshman at the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University studying Voice & Opera with Theresa Brancaccio and Pamela Hinchman.

This summer, Maddy is honored to attend the Berlin Opera Academy in Berlin, Germany to perform the role of Minerva in Offenbach’s Orphée aux Enfers. In addition to putting on a full Opera, she will attend language, movement, and career advice courses. She has received a small grant from the Youngarts Foundation to help fund her studies, but the tuition is steep and does not include transportation and living expenses.

This summer, Isabel Yang will attend La Musica Lirica, a 5-week opera intensive in Novafeltria Italy. She will be singing the role of Cornelia in Scarlatti’s Il Trionfo Dell’onore, as well as intensively studying Italian. She would be grateful for any donations, as she did not receive financial aid from the program to cover housing, meals, or transportation.
