Hi everyone. My name is Whitney and I started this go fund me for my step dad. He had a very serious accident that has left him in critical condition. We are so very grateful and fortunate that he even survived his accident. He fell off of a second story deck onto jagged concrete onto his head. His injuries as it sits now are that he broke all the bones in/around his ears on both sides, multiple skull fractures, multiple severe brain bleeds, broken back, broken bones on both sides where his temples are and they will be checking his potential breaks in his jaw and foot when they repeat X-rays for his back. He was intubated and on the ventilator for a couple days but can now breathe on his own! He will remain sedated in the Neuro science ICU for a few more days at least before we will know what the next steps are. He is slowly improving and the logistics are setting in. His family traveled up to Harbor View Medical in Seattle and not only are needing to pay for hotels, food, fuel, and normal not at home expenses but Isaac will be out of work for a very long time recovering. They said he has a very long long road ahead of him. This is going to really effect his family financially not only due to the immediate travel expenses and upcoming expenses like monthly bills but he was life flighted to the closest trauma center from the accident and his ICU stay. Isaac is one of the most kindest, hardworking, generous people I’ve ever met. He would give you the shirt off his back if it made your life easier and he would do it with a smile on his face. He is not one to accept help but this accident has put their family in an impossible position being that he is the main source of income in their household. Anything would help tremendously be it donations, prayer, or good vibes his way!
