Isaac's Family Needs Us Now-Supporting Those He Loved Most

On Saturday, July 5, 2025, we lost an essential piece of us.
Isaac Armstrong passed away at just 19 years old, and those who love him are shattered. It’s hard to imagine a world without his laughter, his quick wit, his kind heart — without the steady presence he brought to everyone lucky enough to know him.

Isaac was so many things: a devoted son, a remarkable brother, a proud uncle, a loyal friend, and a radiant soul. He was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen and important. Endlessly funny and deeply thoughtful, he had one of the most generous spirits you could ever meet. Whether it was a perfectly timed joke or a quiet moment of understanding, Isaac knew how to show up for people.

He was a creative force who loved music, anime, movies, and art. He had a knife and sword collection he was proud of, and a heart that never turned away a person — or animal — in need. He was especially close with his sisters, Deydra and Kyah, and his nephew Dontez, who lit up every time Isaac walked into the room. His mother, Heather, loved him fiercely and proudly. He was her only son — her world.

The days since Isaac’s passing have been indescribably hard. While his family tries to grieve and heal, everyday responsibilities — rent, bills, and the demands of life — haven’t paused. Time away from work was needed, is still needed. But grief doesn’t follow a schedule — and life doesn’t always pause to make space for healing. The reality of lost income on top of losing a core part of your life is deeply unfair and adds so much stress to an already unbearable amount.

This fundraiser is here to help lighten that burden — even just a little. It’s not easy to ask. But right now, what they need most is time: time to mourn, to breathe, to begin to navigate the enormity of this loss without the added pressure of financial strain.

All donations will go directly to his mom and sisters as they move through the road ahead — one no family should ever have to walk. If you’re able to give, or even just share this page, it means more than you know.

Isaac gave this world so much joy, so much love, so much light in his 19 years. Let’s show that love back to his family now.

Thank you for helping us honor his memory.
