Isaac's custom AFO brace journey

Isaac is our wonderful 14 year old son who has non verbal autism, along with other diagnoses. Recently he has also started having some issues with his ankles and muscle tone as well. We're now having to get him custom AFO braces, and while insurance covers a little bit, the out of pocket costs are still quite a bit, and so we're asking for help. Having to fight with insurance companies is very frustrating, and adding any kind of medical equipment usually adds that extra hoop we have to jump through.
