Isaac, my four month old son is a special baby, he was born with one lung and a unique heart (so unique that doctors have not seen one like it before). Isaac has been in a medically induced coma since Mother's Day, when we had to rush him to the hospital because he stopped breathing. Doctors were not very optimistic at first but upon further research they found what was causing the breathing issue. Isaac's trachea is formed differently which is not allowing it to grow as he gro...ws so now his airway is too small. Today he will be flown to a hospital in Chicago to have a surgery to reconstruct his trachea. This has been a difficult time for my family, especially for my husband and me. We have not been able to work and doctors are saying that we should expect at least another month in the hospital. We are trying to raise money for the medical expenses that we have been occurring and to help pay our bills since we are unable to work.
