Hello, my name is Isaac Rodriguez, 29, with no family here in the United States and was working to help support my parents in Mexico.
On July 27, 2014 I checked myself into the ER because of left-side groin pain which radiated down to my lower back. That day I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Testicular and Kidney Cancer with 3 tumor masses.
After going through various chemotherapies in December 2014 to reduce the size of the masses which were originally 13cm and 8.3cm, they were able to be reduced to 4.6cm and 1.8cm. Since then the tumors have shown an increase in size and are currently still growing.
The only way to continue chemotherapy is to go through a very expensive surgery to try and remove the masses. If the surgery is successful, the medical team from University of Chicago will continue with chemo to try and get whatever cancer cells are left.
This very expensive surgery is the only thing that can help save my life and is crucial. I'm only able to work part-time and therefore cannot pay for my own health insurance.
Any help you can offer, even a small most minimal amount can help get me closer to this much needed surgery.

El 27 de julio 2014 tube que ir al hospital de emergencia debido aun dolor en la ingle que irradiaba a la espalda baja. Ese día me diagnosticaron testicular cancer y cáncer del riñón en eatapa 3, con 3 masas tumorales.
Después de pasar por varias quimioterapias en diciembre de 2014 para reducir el tamaño de las masas que eran originalmente 13cm y 8.3cm, que fueron capaces de reducir a 4,6 cm y 1,8 cm. Desde entonces, los tumores han demostrado un aumento en tamaño y actualmente siguen creciendo.
La única manera de continuar con la quimioterapia es pasar por una cirugía muy costosa para tratar de eliminar las masas. Si la cirugía es exitosa, el equipo médico de la Universidad de Chicago continuará con quimioterapia para tratar de eliminar todas las células de cáncer que hallan quedado.
Esta cirugía es muy costosa es lo único que puede ayudar a salvar mi vida y es crucial. Yo sólo soy capaz de trabajar medio tiempo y por lo tanto no puedo pagar mi propio seguro de salud.
Cualquier ayuda que usted puede ofrecer, incluso una pequeña cantidad más mínimo me puede ayudar a estar más cerca de esta cirugía que tanto necesito.
