Isaac Wairumbi Legal Defense Fun

Isaac Wairumbi is the nicest kid you'd ever want to meet.  An aspiring computer software engineer from an immigrant family, Isaac was working long hours during the day and studying long into the night to acheive his dream of becoming a software engineer at one of Seattle's tech giants: Microsoft or Amazon. 

Always fun-loving and gregarious, Isaac has a quick wit and a big smile, and always seems to be laughing at something funny. However, get him talking about spiritual things and its immediately obvious that Isaac is a deeply spiritual man who loves God and always tries to do what's right. Simply take a look at his Facebook page and you'll realize that he is a good person working toward worthy goals and a great life.

However, on March 18 Isaac and his long-time girlfriend got into an argument that became heated. There was no violence, no abuse, no threats. There was barely any noise. However, the neighbors in his apartment complex heard the argument and called the police. In Washington State, the law says that when the police are called for a domestic dispute, one of the people involved gets arrested. In this case that person was Isaac.

Now this great young man, star athelete, and fantastic student with a bright future -- this humble and lovable kid who has never had a moment's trouble with the law-- is at risk of losing his entire future.  Without proper legal representaton Isaac may have to serve time for a crime he didn't commit, suffer a permanent mark on his record, and face a grim future where he won't be able to get a good job.

With his minimum-wage salary and student expenses, Isaac doesn't have enough savings to pay for an attorney. Mounting a legal defense is expensive, and no attorney will take the case without at least a $5,000 down payment.  We only have until April 6 to raise this down payment for the legal defense before Isaac's trial.
