Isaac was a loving, intelligent young man full of life inspiring to one day change the world as he desired to become a police officer. He excelled in his academic. A chemistry major though even those close to him were not aware. He was a son, a father, and influential to so many other young people within the community. Isaac was a victim of gun violence in which we miss him dearly. He was setup, robbed and murdered. Now, as his mother I refuse to allow his death to be in vain. He touched and impacted so many lives in ways that we never knew. We, his family were touched by the outpouring of love and tributes shared. I am now collaborating and connecting with more gun violence advocaters who are working to reduce all types of violence, and working in partnership with key stakeholders, including faith and community groups, families and survivors of gun violence, law enforcement and elected officials to end the declination of our youths due to gun violence. My desire is to establish a Christian based organization determined to provide valued youths an alternate foundation to misguided morals, concepts and behaviors, learned from misleading role models, peer pressure and their lifestyle choices which youths strive to emulate. God placed the desire in my heart before and then intensified that desire after my own tragic experience of loosing my son due to gun violence. Our valued youth are the pulse of our great Nation with promising hopes and dream filled futures, being jeopardized without our active intervention. We would offer high-risk youths; a structured, disciplined one year intervention [in-house] program consisting of spiritual counseling, mandatory guidance and mentorship, psychotherapy for any substance abuse or family issues, academic courses that will assist youths that do not have high school diplomas to acquire a high school diploma or an equivalent certification as well as mandatory trade courses with job placement before leaving the program so that they are prepared to return to the world with a different mindset and sense of hope.

All contributions will be used solely to geting Isaac's Place of Refuge established which will help our youth to become productive citizens of this society
