Isaac Nunley

Hi, my name is Jill. Due to multiple requests and on behalf of the family, I have started a gofundme for my nephew Isaac Nunley. Isaac is 12 yr old rising 7th grader at Cordova Middle School. Isaac is such a fun loving, smart fella who loves to play games, be outdoors and spend time with his family. Isaac is a member of the Real Wrestlers Real Hero’s Wrestling Club. In April and May, Isaac placed 2nd in his weight division winning silver in his weight class. He has a very promising future with so many

hopes and dreams. In the beginning of June, Isaac started having severe shortness of breath. After an office visit he was diagnosed with bronchitis. On June 12, 2023 after waking up struggling to breathe his grandparents rushed him to the ER. After being there a short time, a very large tumor was discovered on the outside of his lungs and laying/pushing against his heart, windpipe and lungs. The team of doctors worked on him to get him stable enough to transport via life flight to Levine’s Children’s Center, but weather had other plans. He then was transported via ambulance. After having numerous scans and labs the doctors decided he needed multiple biopsies due to swollen glands as well as the large mass. On June 14th, he underwent a lymph node biopsy on the right side of his neck, a bone marrow biopsy in his hip, picc line as well as a chest tube to drain the fluid off of his lungs. The same night he had to get blood transfusions due to losing so much blood but will have to have the chest tube for at least another week. This morning the pathology report came back diagnosing him with T-lymphoblastic lymphoma stage 4. This is what we have been told is a cross between leukemia and lymphoma. Isaac will start chemo today and as well as have a spinal tap. His prognosis is good although he has a long way to go. While his medical bills are taken care of, his grandparents Ricky Blakely and Debbie Schoonover Smith need our help with the expenses of traveling over the next two years. We know that Isaac is very strong and he is a fighter! But he needs your prayers! All donations will be used towards Isaac and his recovery.
