Isaac & Mio Roberto Road to Recovery

Donation protected

As some of you may know but most may not on Friday, July 16th, two of my cousins we’re involved in a hit & run. A hit & run where a drunk driver, did not even attempt to brake, hit a parked car which by force hit my cousins. My two cousins, who we affectionately call Mono & Paya (short for Papaya), were with a friend struggling trying to change a flat tire. Paya reacted to the truck barreling towards them and pushed his friend out of the way to safety.. essentially saving all three of their lives.

Mono suffered a severe blow to the head rendering him unconscious. He was helicoptered to Desert Regional where he had to undergo brain surgery in order to bring down swelling & hopefully wake him from his coma. Paya, clipped between the two cars, was thrown into the air once he landed he broke all the bones in his right leg, collarbone and tragically lost his left leg. If not for him pushing his friend out of the way we would most likely be fundraising for three funerals, since the driver took off on foot, leaving them for dead. Both boys are still admitted in the ICU under critical condition.

I’ve always bragged about how big, wonderful and imperfectly perfect my family is. That no matter the situation we all rally. That there is always enough of us to make anything possible. Unfortunately this tragedy has us a bit outnumbered, financially, which is why we’re seeking help from you, our friends. Our boys have a very lengthy road to recovery & anything helps. Even if a donation can’t be made a share, a like or mention can go a long way to reaching our goal in getting our boys the best legal team and medical care possible. We thank you in advance for all the prayers, well wishes & wonderful thoughts that are sent their way.

We appreciate anyone that takes the time to read share and contribute towards the road to recovery for the Romero Boys. ❤️
