On Sunday October 22, 2023 my 20 month old son collapsed on the floor and screamed out in pain. He started to have trouble walking so his dad and I took him to his pediatrician on Friday . They immediately sent us to the emergency room. Then he was admitted to the children's hospital. After testing, the doctor told us the devastating news that our baby boy has cancer. He was diagnosed with B Cell ALL. He had 60 percent of cancer cells in his bone marrow. We spent 11 days in the hospital while he had blood transfusions and chemotherapy treatments.

He went from being a happy, healthy, and thriving little boy to now being really sick. He's still unable to walk, very weak, and has lost his appetite.

We have a long and hard journey ahead of us. Our son will be in treatment for the next three years. Every week I will have to travel an hour away for him to receive his chemotherapy treatments.

I'm unable to work at this time.
