Isaac Callahan needs help

I'm Megan. I've known Isaac since 2014, and last year, he asked me to marry him, and I said yes. He is the kindest, funniest, most generous person you'll ever meet. He's never seen a problem that he didn't want to help solve. He would give you his last dollar (and sometimes has) if you need it. He loves the theatre, stage combat, kids, dad jokes, and all forms of potato. He is a gentle giant, and this time, he's the one who needs a helping hand.

Isaac was driving me home from my grandfather's memorial service in Pennsylvania when he suddenly lost normal vision and motor control. We were able to pull over, and I drove him to the nearest ER, where we learned he had had several strokes. His vertebral arteries are damaged, and we are now in the neurology critical care unit at Hershey Medical Center. The doctors think that with rest and treatment, he'll recover, but we have a long road ahead, and we're very far from our Georgia home.

I'm no stranger to hospitals. In 2019, I lost my father after three weeks in a trauma ICU following a terrible car wreck on his way home from my mom's brain surgery to remove a giant tumor. In 2020, I lost my mom to that cancer after 7 months in hospice. I know how insane American medical bills are, and I know that Isaac doesn't have that kind of money. A week or more in a neuro ICU will be very difficult for us to manage, especially since we're also paying for our small wedding this year entirely ourselves.

All donations will be used to cover Isaac's medical expenses and the unexpected costs of being hospitalized 700 miles from home, like needing to buy new underwear. He's much too proud to ask for help himself, but if anyone ever deserved it, it's my beautiful, sweet, kind fiancé. Please help if you can, and spread the word as you are willing.
