Our Story

On June 14th 2020, I unexpectedly lost my older Brother Lucca Di Stefano. Lucca was a passionate, troubled, loving and incredible soul that left this earth far to early. A person who struggled greatly with personal Mental Health issues.

I aim to share my brother and I story with the rest of the world as I believe it is necessary to help others across the world who are struggling with grief, broken relationships, difficult family dynamics and mental health issues. To help others realise they aren't alone.

Why we are doing this?

Any donation - big or small - will make a huge impact - not only to be able to tell the story of brotherhood and complex layers of love and mental health issues but you will also help raise more money for mental health research. We are partnering with a black dog institute that strives to enable mentally healthier lives through innovations in science, medicine, education, public policy and knowledge translation.

As well my foundation the Lucca DiStefano foundation which strives to continue Lucca's legacy by assisting the up-and-coming Judo athletes in realising their dreams. The foundation helps fund those young athletes who are experiencing financial hardship, to be able to attend future camps and competitions locally, nationally, and overseas. It offers so much to the young people who practise it; teaching them that through effort they can accomplish their life goals.

The storyline of the Film

The story follows a Heart-warming and heartbreaking true Story of two brothers growing up in an overwhelming and suffocating world. Tackling the complex layers of love and grief through the teenage experience. Taking us on a wild roller-coaster of Pain, Anger, confusion and love. Demonstrating the Unique and Complex layers of love within a relationship of Brotherhood. A Film that is brutally honest, but beautiful in it's frankness.

Our goal is to make this short film the best version possible. In the event that we don’t reach our goal, we will still do our best to tell this passionate and true story of brotherhood through grief, pain, hardship and love as it is one that must be put out into the world for people to learn from.
