Is it you love? - Short Film
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
With a team of fellow students from CineStudio Paris, we are working on our final short film titled Is it you love?, which we’ll be filming in Paris in May–June 2025. We’re currently looking for support to help bring this story to life. Even a small donation would mean a lot to us!
THE STORY
In a dark electronic nightclub, faces blur and bodies move in sync. A confident and charming raver notices an unconscious girl lying on the floor and decides to take care of her. As he watches over her, his fascination slowly turns into love. But when the girl wakes up, she’s far from grateful — and soon accuses him of stalking. The crowd quickly turns against him.
WHY IT MATTERS
The film explores a problem faced by today’s youth and society as a whole — the inability to form lasting relationships. The central theme is the pursuit of connection with an emotionally unavailable person. The film playfully and ironically examines self-made illusions and their unexpected collapse. The characters’ blindness and inner struggles allow the viewer to identify with them, recognise themselves, and reflect on their own relationships.
THE IMPACT
Your support will help us bring this film to life at a professional level. Funds will be used to secure key locations, talented cast and crew, as well as cover travel and accommodation costs for filming in remote areas. It will also support post-production and festival submission fees, giving the project a real chance to reach audiences around the world.
Your name will appear in the film’s credits as part of our gratitude.
OTHER WAYS TO HELP
We understand that not everyone can contribute financially, and non-financial support is just as valuable. Please help us by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, or on social media. The more people hear about Is it you love?, the more likely it is that we’ll be able to bring this story to life.
Thank you all for helping us create something meaningful and beautiful.
With love,
Motiejus Vyšniauskas (director) and the entire team
