For over twenty years, IS 318 has been competing at the Chess Nationals bringing home countless titles and making the dreams of our students come true. After two years of having their hopes deferred due to Covid we are hoping to bring our team to the Middle School Nationals held in Dallas this year at the end of April. Due to last minute lifting of trip restrictions, we are fundraising to get our team of 35 students, many of whom can't afford to compete without support, to Dallas. Every graduate of our programtreasures the memories they made on and off the chess board during the trips to nationals. Time to keep those titles and memories going for the newest generation of chess players who have been denied so much in the last two years of the pandemic. The funds raised will pay for the flight, hotel and entry fee for the members of the team. All donations will go to Town Square which will serve as the non-profit organizing the finaces of the trip
