One minor set back, one major comeback, one special dog worth fighting for.. and that dog is Irwin.

Sometimes rescue doesn’t go according to plan. Sometimes, it asks you to dig a little deeper, hold on a little tighter, and refuse to give up.

Glory Bound Rescue Ranch was contacted by a county in California that needed rescue help for a dog in their care. We said yes to Irwin. We agreed to bring him into our rescue, help him through whatever came next, and find him the forever home he deserved.

But what came next caught everyone by surprise.

This incredibly sweet boy began displaying behaviors that quickly became concerning. It would have been easy to step back. It would have been easy to say this was more than we bargained for. It would have been easy to throw in the towel.

But that’s not how Glory Bound does rescue. So, instead, we stepped up.

We sought professional help for Irwin, and he is now participating in a board-and-train program where he is learning, growing, and being given the tools he needs to become the dog we know he can be.

The only problem? That second chance came with a price tag we never expected.

And this is where we need our village.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover the cost of Irwin’s board-and-train program and give him the opportunity to truly blossom.

They say it takes a village to save a life.

Right now, Irwin needs ours.

If you can spare $5, please consider donating. If you can give more, we are incredibly grateful. And if all you can do is share this post, that helps too.

No donation is too small. No share is insignificant. Every single bit of support gets Irwin one step closer to the future he deserves.

Please help us rally around Irwin. Let’s show him that when Glory Bound says “yes,” we mean it.

Help us give Irwin his chance!
