An Saol Iron Month and TRYathlon

This year, An Saol has partnered with Triathlon Ireland to enhance the experience of the Iron Month by including an in-person launch event, the An Saol Iron Month TRYathlon! Keep reading for details...

Could you ever complete a sprint triathlon?

Can you imagine finishing an Iron Man challenge?

At An Saol, a registered charity for survivors of severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI), we dream big and say, yes you can!

In May 2022, you will once again have the opportunity to join or simply support the friends, family and carers of those with severe brain injuries as they each individually complete an Iron Man style triathlon (that's 4k swim, 42k run, and 180k cycle!).

At An Saol we know that no two people are the same and no two people have the exact same ability in life. As such, we don't expect challengers to complete the entire Iron Man style triathlon in one go (although, if you can, be our guests!). The only rule is that the distance is covered by the end of May!

This year, with the help of our partners, Triathlon Ireland, we are so excited to be bringing you our new Iron Month launch event, the An Saol TRYathlon. You can cover 500m (swim), 20k (cycle) and 5k (run) of the distance by joining us in the Sports Ireland Campus, Blanchardstown on 01 May.

Whether you or a friend is interested in doing the full Iron Month or whether you would only like to complete the in-person TRYathlon on 01 May, you are more than welcome.

If you would simply like to support us, rather than taking part, please hit the donate button. We at An Saol and Triathlon Ireland are so grateful for anything you can so generously give to brain injury survivors.

If you would like to participate in the TRYathlon and/or Iron Month, please purchase tickets for either or both of these events at https://bit.ly/3xEO1PR

If you have bought tickets to take part in either / both the TRYathlon or the Iron Month, please join this fundraising team by clicking on this link https://bit.ly/3uT3gDc

If you would simply like to donate, hit donate - Thank you again!

NB: All donations are ringfenced and used to directly support brain injury survivors through the purchase of specialist equipment and the supply of additional services, beyond those offered day to day. No money is spent on administration or salaries.
