IRONMANOR - My crazy 30th birthday workout!

Donation protected
Hey - it's Charlie here, CEO of MANOR,

As a business we have a big charity agenda, as such we have raised in excess of £100k for various charities over the years.

Mental health is at the forefront of everything we do and last year we ran a campaign called STRONG NOT SILENT which impacted the lives of many. Most importantly, we helped spread awareness of the serious issue male suicide, leading from the front and opening up the discussion that it's OK not to be ok. We are also firm believers that there is NO HEALTH WITHOUT MENTAL HEALTH

I have big ambitions personally to contribute as much as I can, particularly with spreading the word and raising money that will help support individuals with mental health issues. I myself have been depressed, suffered from anxiety, and although I have never had suicidal thoughts, can understand and sympathise with people who have.

Luckily, I am in a lot better place and this is largely down to my amazing support group, opening up and the hunger to develop and push myself mentally, and physically. I use exercise to positively effect my health, help build and reinforce my mental strength and resilience and prove to myself that the only limitations are the ones I create. Exercise is my therapy!

Me and the incredible Manor coaches and community have created a challenge for my birthday called the IRONMANOR. This will not only cement my 30th year on the planet and what is going to be the best one of my life. But we will be raising money for an incredible organisation Rock 2 Recovery  that helps saves lives. They support serving and military veterans struggling with mental health issues and aim to inspire, coach and motivate people towards a more positive future.

The IRONMANOR (yes, we are  crazy),

Taking place at 0500am on Friday 30th August, we will Individually complete back to back:

-  a 30 mile row on a concept 2
-  a 30 mile run
- 30 miles on the assault bike

This is being doing with little or no training, but we will complete it, to prove to ourselves and others, that everyone has the mental strength to push through challenges in life. We are here for one another and everyone has someone they can reach out to. Don't be ashamed, just speak up.

If you want to get involved and support, you can do in the following ways:

- Kindly make a donation for my 30th birthday challenge
- Donate/ offer some supplies to fuel us through this feat
- Come and participate!

Thanks for all your help and support and big love from myself and all the Manor fam!
