IRONMAN ARIZONA IN HONOR OF COLEGIO SUSANA WESLEY

I will be running my first Ironman in 2 weeks. I would like to honor the hard work that my parents have done in their missionary work in the last 23 years in Anapra. I will be running my first full Ironman in their and the mission’s honor. I will ask all of you, friends, family and social media strangers haha for donations. I will be matching the first $1,500 of these donations and giving them to my parents mission of Colegio Susana Wesley through the account set up at University First United Methodist Church in Topeka Kansas.

Short story of how my Dad started the mission. He was a Methodist Pastor in Chihuahua city when he was invited to preach in Anapra, a very impoverished neighborhood at that time. When he asked people to read their bible aloud, he found out most of the adults didn’t know how to read. Coming back home, he felt the call to move his whole family to Cd. Juarez to help the people of Anapra get their GED’s. Later with the help of my mother, who is an English teacher, they started Colegio Susana Wesley. An elementary school that would help break the chains of poverty in Anapra.
