Ironman 70.3 Weymouth for Men's Mental Health!

Firstly thank you for clicking on the link, just spreading awareness and getting a bit more information about men's mental health makes all of the difference. Unfortunately my good friend Calvin recently lost his battle with mental health. Calvin was a bubbly, loving, and cheeky man with a smile that would light up any room who was far too young to leave us, and we will miss him dearly everyday. I hope to learn from his courage in life and hopefully shine light on the necessity to speak to anyone about anything you might be going through.

In light of this, I will be participating in the Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Weymouth, Dorset on the 15th of September, as an initiative to raise as much as possible towards our chosen men's mental health charity Andy's Man Club. The event starts with a 1.2 mile swim, transitioning to a 56 mile cycle and finishes off with a 13.1 mile run. I have decided to pick this event to challenge myself and participate in something that is worth-while donating towards.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated towards Andy's Man Club, however of course if this isn't possible even having a read of their website can help all those around us.

Please check up on your friends and family, and help us to remove the stigma around communicating our emotions as men.

Information about ANDYSMANCLUB Limited: ANDYSMANCLUB is a male suicide prevention charity. We were established in 2016 after the tragic loss of Andrew Roberts to suicide aged 23. We facilitate non professional peer to peer support groups across the Uk and Scotland for any man to attend over 18. We provide a confidential non judgemental space for men to come together to chat about anything that they would like to get off of their chest. We have no waiting list, no referral or signing in process.
