Ironman 70.3 to Repair Bicycles for Children in Need
Jay and Sam are completeing an ironman 70.3 (half ironman) to raise money for Dr Cranky's. An ironman 70.3 consists of a 21.1km run, 1.9km swim and a 90km bike ride.
Jay and Sam are not just doing this for personal achievements, they are raising money to ensure every child has access to a working bike and the fun it brings. Dr Cranky's makes this possible by recycling bikes at primary schools. Families donate unwanted bikes to their school's Bicycle Hospital (Repair station at school) where they are repaired & checked by volunteers. These bikes are then given to needy children & families at the school. Helmets & locks are also provided. The money raised will help to fund; tools, work stands, replacement parts, locks and helmets.
Help Jay and Sam to fund bikes for primary school children in need of them by supporting their ironman 70.3
