Ironman Swansea 70.3: Racing to Support Our Armed Forces
Support SSAFA as I Compete in Ironman Swansea 70.3 - 13 July 2025
On 13th July 2025, I’ll be competing in Ironman Swansea 70.3: a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride, and 13.1-mile run — all in one day. I’m doing this to raise funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, which provides crucial support to service members, veterans, and their families.
Why SSAFA?
SSAFA has been a vital support system for the Armed Forces community for over 130 years. Whether it’s offering welfare advice, housing support, or simply being there during times of crisis, SSAFA helps individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. Many veterans face challenges transitioning back to civilian life, dealing with physical injuries, mental health struggles, or financial difficulties, and SSAFA ensures they aren’t left behind.
I’m passionate about raising funds for SSAFA because their work directly impacts the lives of those who have sacrificed so much. They provide practical, emotional, and financial assistance, helping veterans and their families navigate life after service. By supporting SSAFA, we’re giving back to the people who have given so much for us — and ensuring that they receive the help they deserve when they need it most.
How You Can Help
Your donations will go directly to SSAFA, making a real difference in the lives of veterans, service members, and their families. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps me reach my fundraising goal of £800 and supports this vital cause.
Thank you for your support! Together, we can make a meaningful impact for SSAFA and the Armed Forces community.
