Ironman 140.6 in Memory of Steve Grant
Donation protected
On September 26th, 2021, I will be competing in my first Ironman. I’ll be raising money for the American Heart Association in memory of my father, Steve Grant, who passed away suddenly in July 2019.
One of my favorite lesson I learned from my father is that in life, you find what you are looking for. If you are looking for happiness, you will find it. If you are looking for sadness, you will find it. If you’re looking for success, you will find it in one way or another. I’m looking for a life well-lived and I hope to find it — mentally and physically — by building resilience and adopting purpose-driven goals.
I’m not only looking forward to the race itself, but also the journey to get there. I’ve always been drawn to the process of training for endurance events, especially during my time as a competitive swimmer. I’m excited to transfer that mindset to a familiar, yet entirely different domain.
I’m looking to raise $2600, $100 for each of the 26 months between July 2019 and race day. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated!
