Hi, I’m Luke — a business owner, personal trainer, and most importantly, someone deeply moved by a young girl named Gabby Khoury.
Gabby lives with a rare genetic condition called Kleefstra Syndrome — something most people have never heard of, but something her family lives with every single day.
Doctors once told her parents all the things she would never do. But Gabby continues to prove them wrong.
Through relentless physical and speech therapy, she fights to do what most of us take for granted: taking a step, speaking a word, expressing herself. Her progress is slow, hard-earned, and full of courage. And behind her is a family that never gives up — no matter how exhausting or overwhelming the journey becomes.
I’ve seen their fight. I’ve seen their love. And it’s changed me.
So this September, I’m doing something hard — an Ironman 70.3 triathlon. It’s one of the toughest endurance races out there. But compared to what Gabby and her family face every day, it’s nothing.
I’m racing to raise awareness for Kleefstra Syndrome, and to raise funds for research so that more kids like Gabby can get the help they deserve — and the hope their families need.
Please consider donating. Any amount helps.
Let’s show Gabby — and every child like her — that they are not forgotten.
Let’s run, ride, and swim for something bigger.
With gratitude,
Luke
