On July 7th, the Iron Cowboy will be in Massachusetts to swim/bike/run his 32nd straight Iron-distance triathlon in his 32nd state in 32 days. Billy and Greg are going to be with him all day as he conquers his swim/bike/run in MA.

James Lawrence is one of the most athletic humans probably in the world. He isn't the fastest or the strongest but he knows no boundaries for what he sets his mind to achieving.
As of 6/9 James is on his 14th Ironman distance day in a row with only 36 more days and 36 more states to go! Yes - you read that right. Every day, in a different state, James is going to swim 2.4 miles, then bike 112 miles, and then run a 26.2 mile marathon. He is doing this to raise money for the Jamie Oliver Foundation (http://www.jamieoliverfoodfoundation.org/). The JOFF strives to help educate people of all ages about the foods they consume and how they effect our bodies.
- On average people today consume 31% more calories than people did 40 years ago!
- It takes roughly a 75 minute bike ride to burn off a 20 oz soda.
- 21% of US medical cost are attributed to preventable obesity and that overweight people spend on average almost $3,000 more per year on medical care.
Through the 50-50-50 James hopes to inspire people all over the USA to make better, more nutritious food choices, and to eat healthier food. We are just hoping to further his message and do our small part.

Billy and Greg hope to raise at least $10 for every mile covered on July 7th as we also join the Iron Cowboy for his 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile marathon which will cover the historic Boston Marathon course!
