Iron Butt Challenge to Benefit History Flight

Hi. My name is Dan "Dirigo" Wedgewood and I am a proud member of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) Chapter 27-2, located in Stafford, VA. The CVMA mission essentially boils down to Vets Helping Vets, but we also have a responsibility to those POWs, MIAs, and KIAs who never made it home. In that Spirit, me and a couple of fellow Vets will be doing an Iron Butt Challenge on Saturday April 30th, 2022 in Support of History Flight. History Flight is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to research, location, excavation and recovery of the remains of over 81,000 American service members still missing in action (MIA) from past American conflicts. As the world’s most successful, private MIA search and recovery organization, History Flight has produced a 93 percent success rate on all sites worked in support of the mission, with more than 350 sets of remains turned over to the US Government that have resulted thus far in over 150 positive identifications of missing US personnel.

The Challenge is that we will ride 1000 miles in a single day to raise money for this most worthy and sacred of causes. I respectfully request that you donate any amount of money that you are able and/or share to get the word out on social media. The more it is shared, the more eyeballs see it, the more we can potentially raise. Anything helps! 100% of every dollar raised will go directly to History Flight to continue the good work of honoring the sacrifice of so many brave men and bringing them back home!
