Irma’s battle
Donation protected
Our mom fought cancer. She has been fighting for a long time and we thought we had received great news when Stanford found a new liver donor for her and got a liver transplant on Fourth of July . We had high hopes that it would be a new beginning for her. Unfortunately things took a terrible turn and our mother suffered multiple strokes 4 days after her liver transplant. Too much blood traveled to her brain causing swelling. It left her brain dead and paralyzed. The doctors said there was no hope. My siblings and I had to do the hardest thing in this world, disconnect my mom from life support on July 11,2018 and our mother passed away July 14,2018 . I hope no one reading this ever has to make this decision. My mom was only 55 years old. She leaves behind 3 daughters and our youngest brother is only 15 years old. She also leaves behind 8 grandkids who she cared for. They were her life and her reason to be strong when she felt at her weakest. We ask for help to cover her funeral expensives. Thank you for your time. Any amount helps.
