Hello humans!

  Once again I'm calling out to raise funds for my latest film - an animation that seeks to portray death in a way that promotes a reframing of the way we view it. My own encounters with the death of loved ones have taught me that the more I think about it and understand it, the easier it is to deal with, and the more I appreciate my own life.

  Help me change the way we view death in our society. Help me tell a story that shows death in a way that isn't depressing or traumatic, but that simply shows how profound it is.

   I have already received a grant from Canada Council for this film, but am looking to raise a little more. If you're wondering how the funds will be used, here's a list of expenses:

-materials: paper, paints, brushes, wood,

-equipment: new camera, sound recording equipment, lighting

-subsistence: food and rent while I work full time on this

-Hiring my tech guy: The marvelous Dylan Davies, who will be helping with video editing and sound

-travel costs: traveling to and from Saltspring Island for post-production (where marvelous Dylan Davies lives)
