Irish Polocrosse World Cup Team 2024

The Irish Polocrosse World Cup Team has launched this GoFundMe page to help fund their journey to South Africa this July to compete in the Polocrosse World Cup against Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Zambia, England, United States of America & Zimbabwe.

Polocrosse is a team sport that is a combination of polo and lacrosse on horseback. A World Cup Team consists of two sections, 4 men and 4 women.

The 8 players who have been picked to represent Ireland are:

Conor Doyle

Debbie Harris

Dara Mangan

Joanne Lavery

Abbey Hamill

Along with Tony O'Donnell as Team Coach and Hughie Jordan as Team Manager.

Being selected to represent Ireland on an international stage is a testament to the skill, passion, and spirit these individuals have put into this journey. However, this also comes with its financial challenges.

With Polocrosse being an extremely small sport in Ireland, we are looking for your financial help to support the Irish World Cup Team in the next stage of this great journey.

All Funds raised will be used to support the team expenses such as Team gear, Flights, transport, food, accommodation etc etc.
