Hello everyone,

This year, as my birthday draws closer, my thoughts are centred firmly on my Dad and his incredible love of life.

We lost him a few months ago to mesothelioma, an aggressive and cruel cancer caused by asbestos. The grief has been immense, but throughout his battle, we were held up by incredible acts of kindness. The Irish Cancer Society, along with the dedicated professionals in the Irish healthcare system, became our pillars of strength. They offered not just medical support, but genuine compassion that provided comfort when we needed it most.

That experience taught me what truly matters. This year, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my Birthday than by giving back.

For my birthday, I’m asking for your help to support the Irish Cancer Society. They are on the front line every day, offering crucial services and a lifeline to families facing the same fear and uncertainty that we did.
