Blessing Iris Dawson's Angels

Iris Dawson is currently BATTLING an extended acute respiratory flare-up—something that at this time, like many others before over the years, has caused her to develop bilateral pneumonia.

At the start of August, she was hospitalized and after a particularly grueling battle, THANKS TO GOD, she was able to be discharged for home antibiotic infusion therapy that would be administered by her husband and daughter. But just five days after her return home, her husband, Arthur, fell ill and had to be rushed to the hospital, where it was discovered that he had COVID-19. Later Iris, too, was found to have contracted the virus—thus explaining the severe nature of her current infection. 

God has given Iris and her family EVERY resource and provision needed to help her FIGHT during this latest exacerbation of lung disease. Now it is her desire to HONOR THE EFFORTS of two women who have been crucial to her care at this time. They are Iris’s lead angels: CARMEN WOODLEY (her private nurse who has gone above and beyond traveling to do infusions) and ELLAREE PETERS (her friend who has spearheaded supplying her with meals catered to her health needs). 

A portion of the funds donated to this drive will be given as honoraria to Carmen & Ellaree, a portion will be used to support other angel services, and the remainder will be used to make a donation to the AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION—which provides money to local public health departments across the country so that nursing services, personal care support, hotel rooms, grocery and supplies can be provided for people with lung disease who need to isolate but who can’t afford to do so without financial assistance.
