Iris (nee) Kilby Collins burial

Iris (nee) Kilby Collins July 05 1954 - May 20 2020 Mom always said, "if you need help just ask!!" My name is Tracy Suess and I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my mom Iris Marie (nee) Kilby Collins. I'm fundraising in the hope that I can get enough donations to put a headstone/marker on my moms grave. My mom Iris was laid to rest on Friday, September 04, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. When I first started this fundraiser for a headstone I had set the goal at $2000 not realizing the cost of mom's marker would be $3700. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on December 18 2019. We were devastated. Although she stayed positive and tried to fight a battle so many have fought God took her home on May 20, 2020. She was 65 years young. In this short amount of time arrangements were made for cremation. We were recently able to purchase a plot and my mom has just recently been buried. Each step taken brings us that much closer to closure. However her grave remains unmarked. So I am asking for anyone who can to please donate. Please help to bring closure in the final chapter of my mom's life. So that not only may she rest in peace but family and loved ones may also find peace in knowing that everything that needs to be done is now complete. Thank you and may God bless you!!
