Iris Hsu's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Susan. In August of 2022, my best friend Iris was diagnosed with stage 3c breast cancer that spread to two sets of regional lymph nodes (invasive ductal carcinoma). This diagnosis turned her world upside down and since then, she has been on a journey to beat cancer. She has been receiving treatment at M.D. Anderson by the world's best doctors and surgeons. Thankfully, after some very difficult rounds of chemotherapy and surgery, she had a complete pathological response to the treatment and is now cancer free. She still needs to go through radiation and immunotherapy, so treatment is ongoing to ensure she remains cancer free. However, due to the side effects of treatment, Iris is unable to work. She and her husband had intended to sell their condo to help with the bills, but this source of income has yet to come through due to several challenges (e.g. a flood in the lobby, sales falling through, etc.).

As you can imagine, the bills are mounting as the treatment continues. All funds donated will be used to help with their medical and living costs during this time. Thank you and may God bless you all richly as you help support Iris and Ralph during this time.
