Iris and Family

It breaks my heart to be writing this, I never thought it would happen to someone so close. Iris is more than a best friend, she’s a little sister. On September 6th, Iris was pinned up by a reversing van causing multiple fractures on her pelvic bone, spine, hips and legs needing extensive surgery, along with other internal wounds. Thus far, there have been 5 successful surgeries; yet we are still awaiting on future surgeries + the physical therapy that comes after on the road to recovery. All that’s being asked is for a helping hand through this hard time to support Iris and her family. Please keep them all in your prayers and thoughts. Any donation would be deeply appreciated and will be going towards Iris’ family directly.

Me rompe el corazón estar escribiendo esto, nunca pensé que le pasaría a alguien tan cercano. Iris es más que una mejor amiga, es como una hermana. El 6 de septiembre, Iris quedó prensada por una camioneta que daba marcha atrás, lo que le provocó múltiples fracturas en el hueso pélvico, la columna, las caderas y las piernas, lo que requirió una cirugía extensa, junto con otras heridas internas. Hasta el momento, se han realizado 5 cirugías exitosas; sin embargo, todavía estamos esperando futuras cirugías + la fisioterapia que viene después en el camino hacia la recuperación. Lo unico que pedimos es que la mantegan en sus oraciones. Cualquier donación será profundamente apreciada y se destinará directamente a la familia de Iris.
