What started as a 2022 resolution turned into something far more meaningful. A stretch goal, to train and compete in my first century ride [100 Miles]

 

IRideFor is bigger than the simple idea of completing 100 miles in a single day. But rather, a reminder of life’s adversities and how we as individuals persevere to overcome them.

 

I Ride For, Nana & Papa Napoleon; beloved parents, grandparents, friends, and family. Who have both recently been diagnosed with cancer just a few weeks apart from one another. Sadly, Carol "Nana" Napoleon lost her battle on February 17th, 2022. Joe "Papa" Napoleon is in the final rounds of his treatments.

 

 

 

 

With the help and camaraderie of a few close friends, we plan to train together, endure together, and complete this challenge as a group. As they too have their purposes to ride for. We will be racing the Bayshore to Lakeshore hosted by BayCare Clinic on June 4th, 2022.
