IRFU Charitable Trust Charity Cycle
This year Al and I committed to both a charity fund-raising challenge and a personal challenge, so in September we will be cycling 600km from Bordeaux to Nantes, in aid of the IRFU Charitable Trust. We will be personally funding all of our travel costs and expenses.
Established in 1979, the IRFU Charitable Trust helps seriously injured rugby players and their families with everyday needs, such as medical care, wheelchairs and physical therapy, amongst many other services. Currently the Trust cares for 35 amateur rugby players who have been seriously injured playing the game we love.
Huge thanks in advance for your support – either monetarily or via your good wishes – as we prepare for this exciting test of endurance!
