Irene's YWAM DTS Fund

Hello Everyone!

My name is Irene, and I am so thrilled to share that I have been accepted, and will be attending a YWAM-DTS in Kona, Hawaii beginning this October!

YWAM, or Youth With A Mission, is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this and future generations, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission.

DTS, or Discipleship Training School, is a six-month intensive program that serves as an opportunity for students to deepen their relationship with God, guiding them to build the skills, character and knowledge to bring revival and reformation in all nations. It consists of three months of lectures and three months of outreach mission trips. The quarter I am attending is occurring October 2, 2024 - March 6, 2025.

I am over the moon excited to be joining the school called Fire and Fragrance: Youth Movement. Youth Movement focuses on catalyzing the youth and discipleship movement in universities, high schools, and ministries all across the nations. We will be reaching the lost, discipling and activating believers, serving local churches, all to make a deeper long term impact in their region. These outreaches will be in places like Japan, Philippines, Paraguay, Africa or the USA. The goal is to continue the work of evangelism, prayer, and worship uniting around Jesus and the simple gospel going forth.

Your prayers will be greatly appreciated both leading up to my departure and during my time there. Please pray that preparations and travel go according to plan and that all necessary funds come in. Please keep the DTS team in your prayers that myself and the other members will come together and that God will give us wisdom. Lastly, please ask that God prepare the hearts of those we will reach, and that our team will be able to meet the needs of those we meet.

In addition to requesting your prayers, I am asking for financial support as I follow what I believe to be God’s calling. I have estimated that I will need to raise about $10,000 by October 1, 2024.
