Irene's Medical Fundraiser

Dear friends and family,

We are looking to raise some money to assist Irene Franowicz and John Guertin with sudden, costly, out-of-pocket medical expenses. As you may know, Irene was diagnosed with a very serious medical condition last November. After undergoing emergency surgery in December, Irene has continued to receive ongoing treatments and care. Unfortunately, Irene’s condition has resulted in a significant loss of mobility. John is now attempting to modify their house so that Irene may be moved home. The money you donate will go towards non-covered medical expenses, medical equipment, and mobility equipment as well as the required house modifications and any other medical assistance that Irene might need during this time. Irene has been a dedicated Dietician and Health Advocate at Corewell Hospital for thirty-three years. She was also a columnist for Be Healthy Magazine at the Grand Rapids Press.
