Irene’s Fight to Live and Beat Breast Cancer.
Donation protected

Irene Petrunti, my beautiful sister and best friend was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in October 2022. She is a loving mother of two amazing children, Vincent and Emily. Our entire family was shocked and has been devastated to learn of this frightening diagnosis. The therapies and treatments have been slow and very difficult. For the past two years despite the terrible side effects of treatments Irene has fought with an amazing spirit. Doctors have advised that surgery is not an option. With so many doctor visits, scans, and therapy changes, we are looking for assistance everywhere.
Our ever expanding understanding of the cancer's extent and the best course of action has led us to take steps that are necessary and costly. The official diagnosis is invasive lobular carcinoma, there are no genetic markers.
All aspects of treatment—mental, physical, emotional, and financial—are difficult, time consuming and expensive.
Thankfully, we can assist!. This is where the GoFundMe comes in.
We want to keep moving forward with healing, we have faith.
As some of you may know, I set up a go fund me at the beginning of this life altering and devastating journey, we were grateful for the funds raised. They have sustained Irene and her fight this far.
It is an extremely expensive path.
A $5000 fundraising target has been set to help with housing costs in Arizona, out-of-pocket medical and wellness costs, lost wages, monthly bills, gas, groceries, home help, and travel expenses.
We want to get to Envita, a specialized Cancer Clinic in Arizona that has provided personalized care for patients by pinpointing the cause of and treating the individualized cancers.
Your contributions reach Irene immediately. If you met Irene, you would undoubtedly know what an incredible woman she is.
Irene is the most kindhearted loving person you could ever want to know. Irene’s love of people and life has always made her a giving and caring human, ready to help and support others.
My sister is the most generous, deserving person. Please think about giving a little donation and telling her story to others. Please share our story.
Show Irene that we would not consider leaving her to handle this on her own. This journey is a lot to take and words of encouragement and love are welcomed.
Yours with gratitude,
