Irene(Lillian)and Jody

Yesterday I found out that my friend Jody was Medivaced to St.Pauls Hospital after a serious heart event...at the present time he is on breathing support and doctors are attempting to stabilize him for surgery...His wife Irene(Lillian) had to take the ferry over to Vancouver to be at his side..I can't imagine how that journey was for her...These two people are each others rocks..Irene will stay in Vancouver for however long it takes...there will be no going back and forth between Parksville and Vancouver..I know her..and anyone else that knows them know this too...However with this terrible event happening to them right now there will be no money coming in..things may have been a little easier if the hospital in Nanaimo took such cases as this...at least she would have been close to home...but that is not the case unfortunately..Irene will need money to stay in Vancouver for as long as it takes..like a lot of people they pretty much live paycheque to paycheque and have very little "extra money" for circumstances such as this...so that is why I am setting up this page...please donate if you can..and if you can't ..then please send out prayers for Jody's recovery...I have to add that Jody is a fiercely proud man and would absolutely hate that I am doing this...but I will happily deal with that when he is up and about and recovering from this terrible event..I count on being able to run faster than him for a while...so please donate if you can....thank you...Lynn.
