Irene experienced a severe spinal cord injury on the evening of Sunday, October 23. She was transported to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and underwent surgery to stabilize her spine on October 24th. She has a long road of rehabilitation in front of her. We created this site to build support for Irene and the Schumaker family throughout her recovery. Thank you!
